2019-20 State Officer Team
Tani Madichetti is a senior at William Mason High School. She served as the 2018-2019 Ohio FBLA Treasurer and was elected President for the 2019-2020 school year. This year will be her third in FBLA and she is excited for the upcoming year of this organization. In her free time, Tani loves to read, dance, watch Netflix, and spend time with her family and friends. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and Student Government. She cannot wait to help create a "World of Opportunity" for Ohio FBLA. Leadership to Tani is inspiring others to reach their full potential through examples.
Vice President of External Affairs
Madison Renner is the state Vice President of External Affairs for Ohio Future Business Leaders of America during the 2019-2020 school year. Madison will be a senior starting in the fall of 2019 at Lebanon High School. During her time as a high school student she has been a three year member of FBLA holding the local officer positions of Vice President and President. She has also founded and developed an organization known as Warriors Serving Seniors which provides high school students with volunteer opportunities at local nursing homes. Madison spends most of her time volunteering with nursing home residents and children. She will be a second year mentor with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America non-profit organization as well as a two year member of the National Honors Society. She also has a job working in the school age daycare at the Lebanon Countryside YMCA. As a state officer her goal is to aid FBLA members in creating a world of opportunities for themselves and the people that surround them. Leadership to Maddie is having the grit to step up and take action to put forth the effort others may not be willing to do or may not have the knowledge to complete.
Brianna Altenburger is a junior at Delphos St. John’s High School and holds the position of Ohio’s FBLA State Secretary. Brianna has been a member of FBLA at the local level for three years and is serving her first term as a state officer. This past year she served as her local Vice President. In Delphos, she is involved with volleyball and basketball for her high school and is employed at a local ice cream shop. In her free time, she loves to make memories with her friends and family. Her favorite subjects to study are math and psychology. Brianna is also involved in other school clubs such as Junior Optimist, Liturgy Team, and Gatekeepers. Leadership to Brianna is being the best version of yourself while helping others.
Sowmya Yaddanapudi is a senior at William Mason High School and is the 2019-2020 Ohio FBLA State Treasurer. This is her second year in FBLA and she is excited to serve as a state officer. Last year, Sowmya held the position of Officer of Communications at her local chapter which allowed her to gain experience with the organization. In addition to FBLA she is also involved in Student Government, National Honors Society, band, and has interned at her local chamber of commerce. Some of her hobbies include playing the flute and volunteering at a local homeless shelter. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends, exploring new places, and taking pictures. Sowmya is looking forward to this upcoming year and increasing her passion for business.
Rhea Mehta serves as the 2019-20 State Parliamentarian for Ohio FBLA. She is a junior from William Mason High School. She has been involved with FBLA for the past year and looks forward to serving Ohio this year. While serving as the Outreach Officer of her local chapter, Rhea has raised money for her local chapter through restaurant nights. In June of 2019, Rhea attended the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas, where she competed in the competitive event Public Speaking. Along with FBLA, Rhea enjoys playing the cello, traveling the world, and meeting new people. In the future, she hopes to work as a pharmaceutical consultant and travel to all 7 continents. She is thrilled to be apart of FBLA for the 2019-2020 year and hopes to assist the members to create a world of opportunities for them. Leadership is the act of stepping up or taking initiative within a group in order to complete a task or work towards a common goal.
Kobey Simpson is the Ohio FBLA State Historian for the 2019-2020 year. As an FBLA state officer, Kobey is learning the endless possibilities FBLA has to offer and how it can impact him and other fellow members. Kobey is learning more about his state officer team and building a strong bond with them to become closer as friends and workmates. Kobey currently job shadows Accountants, CEO’s, and Financial Managers to get experience in the booming business world. Kobey is fully dedicated to the complete experience of FBLA and expanding your World of Opportunity both in the classroom and in the expanding business economy. Leadership to Kobey is that a leader must know themselves before getting to know others, no one follows a stranger.
Ayron McClurg is a senior at Delphos Jefferson High School in Delphos, Ohio. She has served as a social media manager and vice president of her local chapter. During her past three years in FBLA, she has competed in several different events at the state and national conference level. Aside from being involved in FBLA, Ayron is also heavily involved in her school and community. As a sophomore, she received a community service award at the local level for completing over 150 service hours. This year, she will serve as the social media manager for her school’s chapter of the National Honor Society. Ayron is also involved in student council, junior optimist, and yearbook committee. Ayron is also a member of the volleyball team. She is excited to serve as the 2019-2020 Ohio FBLA state webmaster. Leadership to Ayron is setting an example for those around you, knowing that the actions you take have a far greater impact than anything you could say.
North Region VP
Noah Heiing is a senior at Delphos St Johns High School. He currently serves as the 2019-2020 Ohio FBLA North Region Vice President, as well as president of his local chapter. Noah has been a member of FBLA for three years and is excited to serve on the state officer team. Noah is also involved in Student Council, in which he serves as Senior Class President, Liturgy Team, as Vice President, and Junior Optimist. Noah is a member of both the track and cross country teams. Leadership to Noah is inspiring others in a positive direction toward a common goal.
Central Region VP
Gaven Nash is excited to be serving as your 2019-2020 Ohio Future Business Leaders of America Central Vice President for the second year in a row. He is currently a senior. Being in FBLA since his freshman year and becoming a national qualifier shows illustrates his potential to be a state officer. Other than being in FBLA, Gaven is currently class president while being on the varsity football and wrestling team at his school and he has also participated in student council and marching band. This year, Gaven is hoping to introduce all members to world of opportunities with Ohio FBLA. Leadership to Gaven is a quality that someone has where they always do what’s right in certain situations.

Freya Fang is a senior at Summit Country Day School. She currently serves as the 2019-2020 Ohio FBLA Southern Region Vice President. Freya has been a member of FBLA virtual for two years. Freya is also involved in various school activities. She is the leader of Chinese Club
